"Apple is Evil!"

I hope you knew that was a joke title; I don't really believe Apple is evil - in fact I love Apple.  I just need to express some thoughts about the Apple vs. Microsoft vs. Linux feud based on some recent comments I've seen. Have you ever heard any of the following phrases? "Apple is all about money, so they suck" "Windows sucks because all their PC's are loaded with bloatware" "You can't do nearly as much on a Mac as you could a PC, so Apple sucks!" "Vista...should I say more? Recording my first full-length album, donate to preorder a copy

Hello,As many of you know, I make music to spread a message of hope and love.  My intentions are that all who listen would be encouraged to seek love, happiness, and better themselves.  My music is made to spread hope to the hopeless, love to the loveless, and peace to the broken.  While I’m able to produce the music on my own, keeping costs down, getting it into your hands costs money. My EP and Single were distributed digitally, forcing a limited audience.  This means a limited amount of…See More

When Making Music, Hardware Matters

I've been making music for awhile, and until recently, I've never been gifted with great hardware.  My laptop was the cheapest deal money could buy, and my desktop was an off-the-shelf bargain.  Never once have I ever had a 'great' machine.  Because of this, when making music, I've always learned to make the best of what I had.  I didn't see any problem dealing with little nuances like popping noises, long waits while rendering audio, etc.  It was all just minor frustrations that could be…See More

I'm in a music video!

Posted on March 12, 2010 at 2:42am 1 Comment

Well, let me correct that - I MADE a music video for a song I recorded and am in THAT video.

I thought I'd share it with you geeks because I'm sure plenty of you out there are music fans and LOVE editing videos. I'm new to Adobe After Effects, and decided to use my Vado HD camera and get experimental. Here's the video:

What do you think? Do you like the song? Do you like the video? Suggestions? I'm new to the whole After Effects thing, so go easy on me!… Continue
