Somehow the truth hurts, and this may be it.In the coming New Year, 2012, both Groundhog Day and the State of the Union address will occur on the same day. This is an ironic juxtaposition of events. One involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to an insignificant creature of little intelligence for prognostication. The other involves a groundhog.See More

Thanks you.  Bear with me.  I'm pretty new to "playing" on the internet.  I spent 8-12 hrs, 6-7 days a week working at a computer over the past 20 years so I'm just now enjoying exploring the internet and learning new stuff.  My time is still pretty limited but I do it when I can. Thanks again.

Hi JT, 360desktop 's website seems to be inactive at this point.
The latest version of 360desktop is 360desktop dated May 19, 2010, which is a more updated version than the beta version I was using.
Hopefully this is a more updated version that you have, and hopefully it may have a fix for the issue that you are dealing with.

It can be found here at Softpedia:

From their profile (360desktop Pty Ltd) on linkedin (, which I am following, it is a privately held company from Australia found in 2008.

But their twitter profile is more up-to-date (, which I am also following. Maybe through twitter, you may be able to glean the information you need to resolve your situation. I hope this information steers you in the right direction and gets the answer you need.

My Nephew Asked For Assistance With A Netbook

Posted on May 24, 2011 at 10:51pm 1 Comment

Now I know that these machines don't have a CD ROM Drive and probably do have a much smaller Hard Drive than most Laptops.

He said that it's infested with Spyware, Malware, and viruses. He wants me to format and reinstall. I have XP Pro but I don't know if a Net Book can handle that.

I think that I've seen a "Starter Edition" of Vista & Windows 7 installed on the ones that I have seen in the stores nowadays. Is there a "Starter Edition" of XP that they…

Just Did The Vista To Windows 7 Upgrade

Posted on November 6, 2009 at 10:30pm 1 Comment

I was pretty surprised. It went smoothly. It did take almost 4 hours (because of all of the applications and files I have). I'm using the machine right now and it is a lot faster than when I had Vista Ultimate 64 installed. Now only time will tell. The machine I upgraded is an HP e9150t with 12 GB of RAM and 1.5 TB Hard Drive with an I7 Intel Processor

What I mean is that after a person uses a machine for a while they tend to slow down.

I do have all of the tools to tweak… Continue

The Trials & Tribulations Of Getting My New Machine In Complete Working Order...Ugh Again

Posted on October 15, 2009 at 11:30pm 3 Comments

Today I decided to connect my new machine to my HiDef Cable TV Box.

A couple of weeks ago I had already swapped the old Standard Definition Box for the HiDef, in preparation for this configuration.

So, anyway I went to RadioShack and purchased a 12 foot S-Video Cable & 12 foot RCA Sound Cables. I connected it up and then saw that it also came with an Infra Red Cable to Help the… Continue

When I took it out of the box the instructions said to flip the battery over and then reinsert it so that the contacts would now touch the connnectors inside of the battery compartment. I did this and then charged it overnight.

I installed PowerChute Personal Edition v2.2 and it gives me an error stating that the battery is disconnected. I must have done something wrong but I have powered down my new PC at least 4 or 5 times and then removed the battery and reinserted it over and… Continue
