Businessweek reported that an agreement was made in EU for a standard charger for mobile phones. This is a step up for improvement. However result was be shown earliest at 2010. It might even taken longer to be able to have standard charger to other parts of the world. It would be best when consumers would have one charger for any mobile phone. It saves the environment too. While this is happening in EU, I doubt other part of the world might see anything until the standard charger become the… Continue

So, I got my hands on a My Touch. It is basically the G2 but is not being marketed as such. It has the same Android OS and same interface but is different in several ways. First and the most noticeable is weight. Because it does not have a physical keyboard (Opting for the on screen keyboard only) it is probably more than 50% lighter than the G1. It is also much sleeker than the G1 and will fit in ones pocket much better. The interface has changed in that it is much more personalized. You can… Continue

This post is cross posted from my blog at Joe.spaghettio.com.
Today, I headed out to the Apple Store in Shadyside to get a problem fixed with my iPhone. The problem with my iPhone was that the ring/silent switch was loose and it was extemely easy to switch the modes. Also, when it was in silent mode, and you shook the phone next to your ear, you could hear something rattling inside. I had a Genius Bar appointment for 3:50, but, of course, I arrived late. If you have ever… Continue

By the time you are reading this little blog of mine, I am already conscious.

This blog is just to promote myself :-) This is a video I made, just to see if I could make something decent to one of my songs. So I shot a lot of footage. And used a lot of time editing it. For a music video, it's paced to slow. And some of the effects are just plain taggy. But I proved to myself I actually could make something decent. And that's alright for… Continue

It’s the final day of June which means today I stop blogging on Blogger and Wordpress. I recently changed www.mikecopeland.squarespace.com to www.tecnicle.com. Of course this means I also shut down my Webs account, I’m very excited about this, and I can’t wait to actually have more time to work on the site. Right now though I’m in the middle of packing things up for my move, and am trying to keep up to date with everything all at the same time. In fact as I type this I’m preparing to put boxes… Continue

Tomorrow I am having a blood test to check for liver damage, as the medical profession seems to think it might have something to do with my shoulder pain (don't ask me how). I am inclined to think it is simply game-induced RSI. The doctor also gave me some nasty-looking painkillers (which I haven't tried yet), but it seems that taking breaks is, indeed, the way forward. Or at least the only way forward I can afford right now. My adaptive technology shopping list is huge, and I am broke… Continue

I recall when I started gaming on my Pentium 133 laptop, just when Blizzard's Diablo was hitting the shelves.
Oh, MAN what a game! I was hooked. Warcraft II was also out and I remember the hours I used to spend wasting away in front of the computer. It got to be too much. Round about the time I convinced my mother to buy me a $5000.00 Dell workstation for Christmas (with the world-legendary Pentium 4 (!) inside) to play Starcraft with, I was spending hours every day just clicking… Continue

The perpetually-spinning rumour mill is churning up unconfirmed reports regarding Nokia manufacturing a 12MP camera. Sadly, this probably won’t be ready for the Nokia World conference in September, so we may have to wait until the 2010 Mobile World Congress seminar.
Such rumours arose after sources from Nokia itself and Carl Zeiss (the lens manufacturer for most high-end Nokia handsets) claimed the Finnish phone maker is working on such a device.… Continue

Hey Chris, I'm a big fan of your videos on youtube, I watch them all to keep updated with new products and even learn different and new techniques for technology. My question to you, which I'm not sure was covered in an older video of yours, but nonetheless my question is, "Is there a software, or easy way to stream audio from your desktop into live video feed? I would think if anyone new this you would. To further explain exactly lets say your streaming your web cam live on a site like stickam… Continue

Now, as I'm sure, most of you out there are a little bitty bit on the unhealthy side, or just slightly overweight. Well, there are some people that will tell you "You need to go on a diet for 6 months, and then afterwards, eat like you were on the diet, just eat a little bit more!"
Well, if your like me, your sweet tooth, or your… Continue
