Fired up and READY TO FINISH!
Boy oh boy. How many hours have I blogged and commented to other blogs in the past 12 to 18 months.
Never had been much of one for politics. Somehow that changed around the 2006 election. Got initially involved primarily out of anger over what I saw in the three national branches of government. Then I saw a Charlie Rose one hour interview with a Senator named… Continue

12The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. 13For we were all baptized by[c] one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 14Now the body is not made up of one part but of many. 15If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body," it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. 16And… Continue

Yo Operating systems,
This is something that really +!@#$ me off, those people who claim to be an operating system!
Ever been in a tech chat room and asked for help with a XP problem only for someone to reply with "buy a mac" as tech support?
Please people stop defining yourself as an operating system, for me all it shows is that you give into the consumer mentality of "this is cool so hate the other product"
Here are the facts whether you like… Continue

Visual Basic is my personal favorite language when It comes to designing programs. It is mainly because the code is pretty easy to debug and the software helps you along the way.
Visual Basic Express 2005 is free and is distributed my Microsoft. You do have to register(But registration is free anyway).
Step 1- Go to http://www.microsoft.com/express/2005/ and download the Visual Basic 2005 Express edition.

There is an interesting link here
It ties into something that I'm doing with my Facebook statuses these few days leading up to the election. The first status was:
Democracy - (def.) a form of government in which the supreme power is held by the people under a free electoral system.
Etymology: Middle French democratie, from Late Latin democratia, from Greek dēmokratia, from δήμος… Continue

When we didn’t think that an Eee PC could get any cheaper. Asus’s President Jerry Shen, said that there will be a new lineup of Eee PCs available in 2009 the new Eee PC lineup will start at just $200. Unfortunately Jerry Shen didn’t say anything else.
I will update if I find anything else.

After leaving lockergnome for a half a month or so (not purposefully, I've just been busy), I was bemused to log in and find that several Pm's and comments had been sent to me; purely involving advertisement of peoples websites and blogs. So I wondered, is this something that an friend/ individual had sent to me purely. Or have they been using the copy and paste shortcuts far to much and sending this to any old Tom, Dick and Harry. Much to my dismay, I noticed that this theme was at a constant… Continue

Nothing terribly exciting happening here. My Screen made a strange clicking sound, but that's about it. I'm pleased to report that there is still a lot of chocolate lying around the house.
I see Chris has dressed up as the invisible man this year. What fun.

Happy Halloween to everyone that is reading this. Today was a simple day for me while I was in school. I woke up and got ready like usual, but all my teachers had nothing planned which caused for a simple relaxing day. A numerous amount of people at my High School dressed up and it was all extremely entertaining! I on the other hand was a party pooper and did not dress up. I actually regret it! I'm a Junior in High School and YES, I'm still trick or treating. I don't think I will ever stop.… Continue

Happy Halloween everybody! Today was just a regular school day, got up and ready and waited to see the anticipated costumes to be revealed at school today, some were good and some were bad. My favorite one was of my friend, he went as the new Joker from Batman: The Dark Knight it was pretty believable. I'm going to a Halloween party within an hour, for now I'm here passing out candy to some little kids.

I find that as I get older, I have the feeling of moving more away from trick ore treating, and just doing the tricking... I can't help it, the thought of being able to run around in a freddy krugar mask, and reek havoc on the other children, spraying string confetti on peoples window, is just so great... And thats how I am going to spend my Halloween... How about you?

Not too long ago I began using the Slackware distribution of Linux. If you don't know what is is it is the oldest maintained distribution of Linux, Since I have been using it I found that I have had the most enjoyable experience since I was using Linux. This distro quickly became the best distribution I have ever used, and this is why.
Simplicity: Slackware is extremely simple. When you install you basically have the system, with the x windows system, and several desktop… Continue

It is a fun night for kids. It has been a much anticipated night. Halloween, however, may not be much fun for your dog. There are strange sounds; a constant stream of people coming to the door; and the sight picture often is very unusual. Halloween for the dog can be a very unpleasant evening:
"..."In the excitement of trick-or-treating, it is important to keep your pet safely away from the front door," Norton warned. "First, it will keep your pet from darting outside when the… Continue

It's Halloween and greedy kids are going to come by and panhandle for candy that you paid for. I don't call it Halloween...I call it Freeloader's Day. If you are low on funds and want to save some money; here are my ideas for those greedy fools.
1. Take some paper and cut them into strips and write random fortunes. Give the kids fortunes without the cookie.
2. Judge the costumes kids are wearing and determine if they are good enough to get candy. Those lazy kids that show… Continue
