1) As the name suggests Apollo will be the first platform to unify the computing experience across phones, tablets, Pcs and laptops.
Microsoft’s move to distinctly brand their devices as the bold new face of mobile operating systems with the windows phone, that’s simply faster, as seen with its powerful Nokia Lumia handsets. The handsets distinct look will be a great gimmick and sell like hotcakes, once the phones are sold the incoming tablets and ultra-books will… Continue

How many times when you buy a new phone they say, you need to charge it for 12 hours before using it? or similar things like drain all the battery before charging. well i've done some research and found some myths about these batteries that will change the way we use them, So let's get started.
Myth 1: Do they need an initial charge of 8-12 hours?
No, all Li-ion batteries do not require an inittial charge, this batteries are made for a maximun of mAh and can… Continue

Wow! Who would have thought that Motorola would make an Android tablet? Well they actually made the tablet which is preloaded with the new Android OS “Honeycomb”. It was released in the CES convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This table comes in two models, a 4G LTE model and a WiFi model. This Android tablet features a healthy-sized 10.1-inch capacitive screen with a very high resolution of 1280×800, a 5MP HD camcorder and a powerful dual core Tegra 2 chipset which allows you… Continue

Its evident that this new iPad 2 camera is going to be 1MP as compared to the 0.7MP camera on the iPod Touch 4th Generation.
That was taken out of the SDK and only the back camera is going to be 1MP. The front will be less.
The iPad certainly has the CPU to shoot HD video and the camera is certainly good enough so we should be expecting HD video from the rear facing camera. If this does not come, the jailbreakers will certainly make it so.

Ok .. So I got interested in tablets when my sister got an Apple ipad. I admit I'm a gadget addict and 1/2 the fun is discovering new gadgets. My main reason for wanting a tablet is as an ebook reader ...
I mean why spend all that money on an ebook reader when you can spend the same or a little more and have a bunch of extra features and an ebook reader.
So I first bought a Zenithink 10.2" android 2.1 tablet for about $200 in December 2010. It has a micro sd slot for up to… Continue

In the midst of the new tablet rush, I completely forgot about RIM. And when I came home today to see that they had released a tablet, I was stunned. Let me just start off by saying that I am completely blown away by the Blackberry Playbook. When I read the specs, I found out that this thing was a monster. A tablet packing a dual-core processor? Jeez. Two HD cameras, HDMI out, and much more. I think RIM made the right choice by waiting to enter the tablet market, because they just took everyone… Continue

There is a lot of hype surrounding the Samsung Galaxy Tab and for good reason; It is the first android tablet to really get exited about. There is no hiding the fact that there are going to be comparisons to other similar devices, most notably the iPad. On paper, the Tab seems like it has the potential to be a great device but there is the big problem that Android is not suitable for a device like the Galaxy Tab. Apple has the advantage here because they control both the software and the… Continue

I bought one of these, and it has been a pretty good device so far. It is mostly useful in Photoshop when you need to have the pressure sensitive pen.
I would recommend the tablet, it will run you about $70-$100 and more, depends on which model you get. I got the Bamboo Pen
, which was all that I needed. You can pay 20 dollars more for the tablet with the eraser on the pen, and the few additional buttons on the tablet itself. I… Continue

My favorite laptop maker, Asus, has annouced three tablets at computex. The question is whether or not they will compete with the ipad.
The first one up is the Asus Eee Tablet:Picture
This is more or less an e-reader with the ability to take notes. The note taking feature has the ability to tag, sort, and store notes. It comes with a stylus, has a micro SD slot, and a… Continue

Placing an Order:
February 2, 2010Tuesday
Last week, Apple launches the iPad, an E-Book reader with Plus capabilities costing $499 or roughly 25,000 PHP. Not really having that much money to spare for another computer gadget, I was simply curious about it thinking it was Apple's answer to Bill Gates' Tablet PC [launched several years ago]...but it is actually a… Continue

So i've been meaning to write a blog post in here for a long time, but really haven't gotten around to it.
So my first topic will be about the so-called Apple tablet.
Yesterday apple announced the iPad, which basically looks like an oversized iPhone, and the UI does in fact look much like the one on the iPhone just a lot bigger. And i know that a lot of people will ask: "why would i want such a device? it's just a big iPhone!" I can only speak for my self, but this is the device… Continue

It was just confirmed by Apple that the "Our new creations" event will take place Jan 27. The invitation did not hint of any new products unlike last one's. The previous event "It's only rock and roll" showed an ipod ad on the front hinting that new iPods would be released. You could guess anything on this new one.

CES has officially started and already spat out a ton of new products. One that really caught my eye was HP’s new touch tablet. Steve Ballmer presented a prototype of the rumored HP Tablet. The tablet has not been named, but will have Windows 7 and will be released later this year.

I saw this video on MacRumors today and I was surprised at the things they are planning for an unreleased tablet, most likely the Apple Tablet. No longer would students have to carry around 4 books for their classes or even take notes!
Things I'm concerned about though is pricing. I've heard that it could cost around $1,000, which would be a lot for a school to pay if they wanted to get tablets for each student. It would lessen the cost of books since the eTextBooks would most likely… Continue

This is a response to Chris Pirillo's Green screen challenges. Yes, I know it is a little late, but hey, why not have a little fun? Especially when a new tablet is going to come out! Chris tells us his opinion of the new 'rumored' Apple device and says that he wouldn't buy it. Honestly, I wouldn't either, but I do think it will be rather nice looking.

It has been widely rumoured that the Apple tablet is announced this January, specifically 26th January, 2010.
Now, these are the things I want it to have.
1) Advanced multi-touch + accelerometer - like the iPhone, except with more features
2) 7" or 10" screen
3) Support for both Mac apps and iPhone apps.
4) Bluetooth keyboard (and mouse) support + stand available.
5) HDMI output (or mini-displayport->HDMI adapter available) with dual screen… Continue

I was watching this video by jon4lakers
and I thought he brought up an interesting point. Could Apple still be releasing the Macbook Tablet? He brought up an interesting point that Steve Jobs had wanted to come back with an amazing product to introduce, and it could come out by the end of this month.
One thing I disagree though with is his thought that they may be discontinuing the Macbook line how it… Continue

Yesterday, I got a drawing tablet for my pc called Bamboo Fun. There really isn't a learning curve with it. It is in sync with the corners of my screen so it is really easy to draw. I looked into it and there are two bamboo's: Bamboo and Bamboo Fun. I went for the fun cause for just $20 more I got a mounse and some software that really lets you experience all that it can do. It is pressure sensitive so on corel painter essentials, the harder you press, the thicker the lines come out. Anyone who… Continue
