I was using Apple's white aluminum keyboard on my PC for almost 3 years now because of the short throw chiclet keys and the solid aluminum frame. While its been reliable, it required Key Remapping for the PC because of Apple's unto themselves key character set structure (like everything else).

I ran into a better one on NewEgg.com about a week ago, FOR the PC, all aluminum, white, chiclet keys, usb ports, etc. Right out of the box I noted the longer cord, as opposed to Apple's cheap crap short cord and needed an extender to reach the back of my PC. Second thing I noted was the keys have larger and darker letters on them and the texture feels better under the fingers. One last thing I noted was the 6 actual RUBBER no slip feet under the keyboard, as opposed to Apples solid slippery plastic. The aluminum of the keyboard is almost identical to Apples and feels just as solid.

Once again, Apple shown up by 3rd party mfrs, for less money. And still people hang on every word or release of new Apple crap. I gotta hand it to Apple for very effective brain washing. But then, so did the Nazi's.

I've got a  pile of old keyboards on my metal storage shelves, some as old as 10 years or more.

i gotta say that is a good replacement keyboard. while i can use pretty much any keyboard these days i still very much like and prefer the old school mechanical, IBM Model M style. i got an older Dell keyboard with big buckling spring keys for 5$ today for use on my tower. the one that tyler linked is ideal to me as well.

Yeah Tyler, a lot of people still like the old long throw keys. I still have one customer trying to get used to a medium throw keyboard that comes with the computer from HP. I prefer almost no throw at all, and quiet as well.

I have a very different taste in keyboard. I'd much rather use one of the old Apple keyboards than that, and by old, I mean old enough to have ALP switches. ;)

^ That keyboard is far more within my tastes. A Cherry MX Blue under every keyswitch. Feels amazing to type on.

If I wanted to for an Apple style I guess I could always go for the Matias Pro.
