For the past 3 months i have been dual booting Mac OSX Snow Leopard on my AMD custom build pc, So far i haven't had many issues but it can be very buggy at times. I do not suggest doing a hackintosh on any pc really what so ever because its not worth having to mess with kexts and fix everything yourself. If you really want a mac go sped the $1200 on a real mac.

Just get a hot rod PC for that kind of money, or build your own. Get Win 7 Pro 64bit. Apple is still proprietary and has you nazied into all their crap, no flexibility, no choices, no real gaming. You pay, and you pay, and you pay. Back compatibility is a joke as well. It's an elite mind play fad, candy coated expensive crap, nothing more.

Apple user for 20 years, over 40,000 hours logged in on them in the graphics industry, nothing but trouble, pain and unhappiness. Since I no longer have that job I don't have to use them anymore, thankfully.  Whew.

I built a complete gaming PC computer this spring for only $650.

Happy camper.
